Adopt Resolution #2024-070 authorizing an appropriation of $1,500.00 from the Historic Parks Fund to Historic Blakeley State Park to cover transportation costs of a 56-passenger charter bus for the American Association for State and Local History (AASLH) Conference in Mobile, Alabama, on September 14, 2024.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: On January 10, 2024, Archives staff received correspondence from Mike Bunn, Director of Historic Blakeley State Park, requesting funds in the amount of $1,500.00 to cover the cost to rent a 56-passenger charter bus for the tour of Baldwin County's historic sites during the AASLH Conference in Mobile, Alabama, on September 14, 2024. There were complications in securing BRATS transportation for the tour, therefore, the request is for financial assistance from the Historic Parks Fund to cover the cost for charter transportation.
