Recommendation
Approve the requested route for the Krewe of Mullet Mates (KOMM) 24th Annual Mardi Gras Parade on February 10, 2024. The parade route will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Mullet Point Park, traveling South along County Road 1, past Mary Ann Beach Road and continuing to Pelican Point Park (Weeks Bay) parking lot.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Staff received correspondence from Mr. Eric Smith, KOMM Parade Chairman, on January 18, 2024, regarding the 24th Annual Krewe of Mullet Mates Parade. The Sheriff’s Office will provide security for this event. Boy Scouts Troop #47 will provide clean up after the parade.
