STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Take the following actions:
1) Reject the bids received from Buster Miles Ford, Inc., and Cooper Chevrolet, Inc., for the Purchase of One (1) or more 2023 Ford Explorer XLT RWD (SUV) or Equivalent and authorize the Purchasing Director to re-bid for the vehicle; and
2) Authorize the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on February 6, 2024, at 1:30 P.M. Two (2) bids were received. Staff recommendation is to reject both bids which did not meet the bid specifications and authorize the Purchasing Director to re-bid for the purchase of one (1) or more 2023 Ford Explorer XLT RWD (SUV) or equivalent for the Baldwin County Commission. Exceptions are noted on the bid tabulation that is attached for your review.
