STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the FY2024 Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Certifications and Assurances as pertains to the Sections 5307, 5311, and 5339 grant programs for Baldwin Regional Area Transit System (BRATS).

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Annually, the FTA requires all transit grant recipients to sign Certifications and Assurances indicating the compliance of applicable federal statutes, regulations, executive orders, and requirements to receive federal funding. This annual submission requires the signatures of the grant recipients’ authorized representative (Commission Chair) and representing attorney.

February 24, 2023 - Approved FY2023 Certifications and Assurances.
April 5, 2022 - Approved FY2022 Certifications and Assurances.
February 17, 2021 - Approved FY2021 Certifications and Assurances.
