Extend Competitive Bid #WG22-47 - Provision of On-site Crushing of Concrete at various Baldwin County locations with Adelphi Services Group, LLC, for an additional twelve (12) months at the same prices and terms stated in the bid specifications as awarded on July 19, 2022. The bid extension will expire on July 19, 2025.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The Highway Department requests the Commission extend the bid for the Provision of On-site Crushing of Concrete at various Baldwin County locations with Adelphi Services Group, LLC, awarded on July 19, 2022, for twelve (12) months. The bid specifications contained a stipulation that the bid could be extended for two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods by the Commission at their option, if acceptable by the vendor. Any additional extensions will be at the same prices, terms and conditions stated in the bid. The vendor, Adelphi Services Group, LLC, submitted an email agreeing to extend the bid prices for an additional twelve (12) months. The first bid extension will expire on July 19, 2024. 06/06/2023 meeting: Extended the bid for the Provision of On-site Crushing of Concrete at various Baldwin County locations with Adelphi Services Group, LLC, for an additional twelve (12) months at the same prices and terms stated in the bid specifications as awarded on July 19, 2022. The bid extension will expire on July 19, 2024.
07/19/2022 meeting: Awarded the bid for the Provision of On-site Crushing of Concrete at various Baldwin County locations with Adelphi Services Group, LLC, as per the Award Listing and authorized the Chairman to execute the Contract. (Contract effective immediately upon the same date as its full execution for twelve (12) months.)
06/01/2022 meeting: 1) Approved the specifications and authorized the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for the Provision of On-site Crushing of Concrete at various Baldwin County Locations for the Baldwin County Commission; and 2) Further, authorized the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid was advertised.
