Make Addendum #1 which changed the bid opening date from August 14, 2024, to August 28, 2024, for Bid #WG24-24 - Renovations of Oak Street Building for the Building Inspection Department located in Bay Minette, Alabama, part of the August 20, 2024, official record of the Baldwin County Commission.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The attached Addendum #1 for Competitive Bid #WG24-24 - Renovations of the Oak Street building for the Building Inspection Department located in Bay Minette is for one change. During the Pre-Bid meeting held on August 7, 2024, the contractors that attended requested additional time to acquire pricing for the generator and materials that will be used on this project in order to prepare a competitive bid price. The change extended the bid opening date from August 14, 2024, to August 28, 2024. The Commission approved at their regularly held meeting on July 2, 2024, for the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid was advertised and to bring the approved addendum to the next meeting following the date of the addendum to become part of the official record of the Baldwin County Commission. The Chairman approved the Addendum #1 on August 7, 2024.

7/02/2024 meeting: 1) Approved the specifications and authorized the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for renovations of the Oak Street building for the Building Inspection Department located at 203 Oak Street, Bay Minette, Alabama 36507; and 2) Further, authorized the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.
