BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The Architect, Patrick Addison with PH&J Architects, Inc., is submitting for Commission approval the Certificate of Substantial Completion on the Construction of Miscellaneous Protective Partitions at Various Buildings. The contractor has several minor items remaining on the punch list that will be completed prior to receiving final payment.

Previous Commission action/date:
05/06/2025 meeting: Approved and authorized the Chairman to execute Change Order #1 with TripTek Construction, LLC, in the credit amount of ($10,000.00) on the Construction of Miscellaneous Protective Partitions at Various Buildings.
07/02/2024 meeting: 1) Awarded the bid for the Miscellaneous Protective Partitions at Various Buildings to the lowest bidder, TripTek Construction, LLC, in the bid amount of $253,200.00, Construction Time: 180 days (Sundays & Holidays included); and 2) Authorized the Chairman to execute the Contract.
01/17/2023 meeting: Approved and authorized the Chairman to execute the Professional Services Contract with PH & J Architects, Inc., in the amount of 6.5% of the construction cost for the Design of Protective Partitions in various Baldwin County Commission facilities. (Funding will be from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA funds).
