STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Take the following actions:
1) Award the bid for the Miscellaneous Protective Partitions at Various Buildings to the lowest bidder, TripTek Construction, LLC, in the bid amount of $253,200.00, Construction Time: 180 days (Sundays & Holidays included); and
2) Authorize the Chairman to execute the Contract.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on May 23, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Two (2) bids were received. The lowest bid was received from TripTek Construction, LLC, in the bid amount of $253,200.00. The Architect, Patrick Addison with PH & J Architects, Inc., has reviewed the bid responses and has submitted a certified bid tabulation and letter recommending the bid be awarded to the lowest bidder, TripTek Construction, LLC, in the amount of 253,200.00. Bid Tabulation attached for review. Funding will be from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds.

01/17/2024 meeting: Approved and authorized the Chairman to execute the Professional Services Contract with PH & J Architects, Inc., in the amount of 6.5% of the construction cost for the Design of Protective Partitions in various Baldwin County Commission facilities. Funding will be from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds.
