STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Approve the Baldwin County Council on Aging Director to submit the South Alabama Regional Planning Commission/Area Agency on Aging application for Title III Funding for Fiscal Year 2027, requesting funds in the amount of $145,052.00, effective October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, said funding to support the operations of the Baldwin County Council on Aging programs.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  Each year the Baldwin County Council on Aging (COA) applies to the South Alabama Regional Planning Commission/Area Agency on Aging (SARPC) for Title III Federal and State funds to support COA programs for the upcoming fiscal year, October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027.
