STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the Addendum to the Cooperative Acceptance Agreement approved on May 7, 2024, with Cintas Corporation for the rental of uniforms and rugs off the Omnia Partners Public Sector National Purchasing Cooperative effective September 16, 2025, for the remaining term of the original agreement.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  Staff is submitting to the Commission for approval an Addendum to the Cooperative Acceptance Agreement with Cintas Corporation for the rental of uniforms and rugs for County employees and buildings approved May 7, 2024.  The OMNIA Partners Public Sector National Purchasing Cooperative negotiated a new contract with Cintas Corporation in June 2024.  This new contract provides lower pricing on certain items which are listed in the Addendum and will result in cost savings for the County.  Service Agreement attached for review.

 

Previous Commission action/date: 

05/07/2024 meeting:  Approved and authorized the Chairman to execute the Cooperative Acceptance Agreement with Cintas Corporation for the rental of uniforms and rugs off the Omnia Partners Public Sector National Purchasing Cooperative effective for thirty-six (36) months from the date of execution.
