Recommendation
Adopt Resolution #2026-120 amending the FY 2026 Budget (Resolution #2025-170 and Resolution #2025-171, adopted September 16, 2025) in order to reallocate various funds.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The Budget Director respectfully requests the transfer of $90,463.00 from County Attorney - Legal Services to Personnel - Retirement Tier I to fund the one-time lump sum payment as provided for by Alabama Act No. 2026-608 for the eligible retirees and beneficiaries of deceased retirees of the Baldwin County Commission.
The Budget Director respectfully requests the transfer of $20,800.00 from Planning and Zoning - Capital Outlay Motor Vehicles to Planning and Zoning - Transfer of Asset Cost to reflect the nature of the transaction as an interdepartmental transfer, not a new purchase.
Previous Commission action/date: 09/16/2025, BCC Regular Meeting - Adoption of FY 2026 Budget.
