STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Consider the applicant’s request to rezone the subject property from RA, Rural Agricultural District, to RSF-1, Residential Single Family District, based on the information provided in the staff report and the public comments received.

 

Should the Commission determine that the request is consistent with the Zoning Ordinance, adopt Resolution #2026-111, which approves Case No. Z26-23, McKenzie Property Rezoning, as it pertains to the rezoning of 60 acres, more or less, as located in Planning (Zoning) District 39, from RA, Rural Agricultural District, to RSF-1, Single Family District.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:   The subject property is currently zoned RA, Rural Agricultural District, and is located in Planning District 39, south of County Road 24 and east of County Road 13, west of State Highway 181 in the Barnwell community. The applicant is requesting to rezone 60 acres, more or less, from RA to RSF-1, Single Family District, for the purpose of single family housing.
