Make the Fiscal Year 2025 County Rebuild Alabama Annual Report part of the record and publish on the County website.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Governor Kay Ivey signed the Rebuild Alabama Act #2019-2 into law on March 12, 2019. This Act amends the Code of Alabama 1975 and will be used for transportation infrastructure improvement, preservation, and maintenance projects pursuant to the provisions of the Act. The Alabama State Act levies an additional 10¢ excise tax on gasoline and diesel fuel implemented over a three-year period.
The County Engineer shall submit the FY 2025 County Rebuild Alabama Annual Report for the first Commission meeting in January. This annual written report shall provide each project’s status and detail expenditures made from the County Rebuild Alabama Fund and Federal Aid Exchange fund. The written report shall be entered into the minutes of the County Commission and published on the County’s website.
Previous Commission action/date:
August 20, 2024 - The Commission adopted the amended Rebuild Alabama - Baldwin County FY 2024 County Transportation Plan which included the following projects:
County Road 1 - Resurface from U.S. Highway 98 to End of Maintenance
U.S. Highway 98 - Resurface from County Road 1 to Greeno Road
County Road 99 - Resurface from Carrier Drive to U.S. Highway 98
Scenic Highway 98 - Bridge Replacement over Point Clear Creek
August 20, 2024 - The Commission adopted the Rebuild Alabama - Baldwin County FY 2025 County Transportation Plan which included the following projects:
County Road 87 - Resurface from Channel 44 Road to County Road 112
County Road 73 - Resurface from Foley Beach Express to County Road 36
County Road 99 - Resurface from County Road 91 to Carrier Drive
Scenic Highway 98 - Bridge Replacement over Point Clear Creek; and
Approved the display of the County Transportation Plan in conspicuous places at the Baldwin County Courthouses, Baldwin County Commission Offices, Baldwin County Highway Department, Baldwin County website and other places deemed appropriate by the Baldwin County Commission.
