STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Take the following actions:

1) Approve the employment of Christopher Chappelka to fill the open Operator Technician I position (#5687) at a grade 308 ($18.25 per hour / $37,960.00 annually); and

2) Approve the employment of Denney Keaton to fill the open Traffic Control Technician II (Sign) position (#503) at a grade 309 ($19.17 per hour / $39,873.60 annually).

These actions shall be effective no sooner than October 21, 2024.

Background:  The Traffic Operations positions were vacated due to promotion/resignation of previous employees. The County Engineer respectfully requests that the above recommendations are approved.
