Recommendation
Appoint the Association of County Commissions of Alabama (ACCA) as Baldwin County Commission’s proxy voting delegate to represent the Commission at the 2026 Annual Business Meeting for the National Association of Counties (NACo).

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Voting delegates and proxies will elect new leadership and set the organization's policy priorities during the NACo Annual Business Meeting, which is scheduled for July 20, 2026. The designation of voting delegate(s) or proxies should be done no later than 5 p.m. CT on Sunday, July 19.
Previous Commission action/date:
June 3, 2025, Regular Meeting - The Commission selected the ACCA as the Commission’s proxy voting delegate to represent the Commission at the 2025 NACo Annual Business Meeting.
June 18, 2024, Regular Meeting - The Commission selected the ACCA as the Commission’s proxy voting delegate to represent the Commission at the 2024 NACo Annual Business Meeting.
