BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Background:  The Commission during its September 2, 2025, meeting authorized staff to advertise the Request for Proposals for Disaster Debris Monitoring Services. Seven (7) firms submitted a proposal and after review by Terri Graham, Mark Acreman, Tucker Steward, Ed Fox and Michelle Jernigan, three firms were selected to give a presentation to the committee. The firms were evaluated on criteria listed in the RFP. After viewing the three (3) presentations by the firms, as well as reviewing their qualifications, the evaluation committee feels that Thompson Consulting Services, LLC, had the most advantageous proposal for the County.

Recommendation to the Commission is to award the contract to Thompson Consulting Services, LLC, as per the Award Listing and authorize the Chairman to execute the Contract. RFP Tabulation attached for review.
