STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Confirm, ratify, and approve the Agreement for Laboratory Services with Foley Hospital Company, LLC d/b/a Baldwin Health, dated March 4, 2026, with an effective date of May 8, 2026. This agreement is for laboratory services following on-the-job accidents, employee drug screens, breath alcohol analysis, and specimen collections.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office needs 24/7 laboratory services for post-accident screenings on the south end of the county. This agreement allows employees to be sent directly to the lab and avoids wait time and the cost of an emergency room visit if the employee is not injured.
