STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Take the following actions:

1) Authorize the Baldwin County Coroner’s Office to submit the FY 2023 State of Alabama Homeland Security Program Grant Application through the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) for reimbursable expenses for the purchase of a Ford F-250 Super Duty Truck and enclosed 8.5 x 20 Trailer; and

2) Authorize the Chairman to execute the grant application and any other documents related to the application.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The Office of the Coroner is requesting to apply for a grant through ALEA for the reimbursement on a purchase of a Ford F-250 Super Duty truck and enclosed 8.5 x 20 trailer used for transporting the Quick Deploy Mortuary Cooler received from a grant through the Alabama Department of Public Health.
