STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Consider the applicant’s request to rezone the subject property from RA, Rural Agricultural District, to RSF-2, Residential Single Family District, based on the information provided in the staff report and the public comments received.

 

Should the Commission determine that the request is consistent with the Zoning Ordinance, adopt Resolution #2026-020, which approves Case No. Z25-53, Goodrich Property Rezoning, as it pertains to the rezoning of 414 acres, more or less, as located in Planning (Zoning) District 10, from RA, Rural Agricultural District, to RSF-2, Residential Single Family District.

Background:  The subject property is currently zoned RA, Rural Agricultural District, and is located in Planning District 10, west of Jimmy Faulkner Road and north of Buzbee Road. The applicant is asking to rezone to RSF-2, Residential Single Family District, for residential use.
