STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Adopt Resolution #2024-107, which approves Case No. Z24-09, Lewis Property Rezoning, as it pertains to the rezoning of 3.3 acres, more or less, as located in Planning (Zoning) District 22, from RA, Rural Agricultural District, to RSF-1, Residential Single-Family District.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The subject property is currently zoned RA, Rural Agricultural District, and is located in Planning District 22, on County Road 97 just south of US Highway 98. The applicant is asking that a portion of the property, 3.3 acres out of 7.8 acres, be rezoned to RSF-1, Residential Single-Family District for the purpose of developing a 3-lot single family subdivision.

 

The Planning Commission considered this request at their April 4, 2024, meeting and voted 9-0 to recommend APPROVAL to the County Commission.
