Approve the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Engineering/Environmental Services for the Dauphin Island Sea Lab/Mobile Bay National Estuary Program’s Baldwin County Monitoring Task - Automated GSSHA Watershed Analysis (AGWA) System Modeling and Hydrologic Monitoring Enhancement Subaward and authorize the Purchasing Director to advertise the RFQ.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The Planning and Zoning Department is requesting the Commission approve the attached solicitation for engineering/environmental services for the Dauphin Island Sea Lab/Mobile Bay National Estuary Program’s Baldwin County Monitoring Task - Automated GSSHA Watershed Analysis System (AGWA) Modeling and Hydrologic Monitoring Enhancement Subaward. The consultant chosen will build a GSSHA model that will be uploaded to AGWA for Modeling and Hydrologic monitoring for the Styx River Watershed within Baldwin County for stormwater management. Staff recommends that the Commission approve the RFQ and authorize the Purchasing Director to advertise.
This project will be funded by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021.
Previous Commission action/date: 06/16/2026 meeting: Approved the Subrecipient Agreement with Dauphin Island Sea Lab/Mobile Bay National Estuary Program for Baldwin County Monitoring - Styx River Watershed Automated GSSHA Watershed Analysis Modeling.
