STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Adopt Resolution #2026-125 which approves the Building Construction Regulation Agreement between the Baldwin County Commission and the Town of Silverhill governing the regulation of building construction outside the municipality’s corporate limits but within the municipal police jurisdiction.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Agreement forthcoming from staff.
The previous agreement, executed on July 17, 2023, expires upon completion of its 36-month term. Approval is requested to authorize a new agreement extending through December 31, 2026.
Previous Commission action/date: July 5, 2023 - Authorized an agreement permitting the Town of Silverhill to administer building permitting, construction inspections, and enforcement of building codes and floodplain management regulations within the Town's police jurisdiction outside its corporate limits.
