STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Adopt Resolution #2024-160 amending the fiscal year 2024 Budget (Resolution #2023-186 and Resolution #2023-187, adopted on September 28, 2023) in order to allocate funds to add a Commission requested generator to the Bay Minette - Oak Street building.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: During the May 7, 2024 Regular Meeting, Commission adopted Resolution 2024-115 amending fiscal year 2024 budget, approving $150,000.00 to be used to remodel the Bay Minette - Oak Street building. During subsequent meetings Commission has requested that generators be placed in all County offices.
It has been determined that the best time to install a generator is at the time of the a remodel. Therefore, the Building Official respectfully requests for $38,500.00 to be allocated for the purchase and installation of a generator for the Oak Street building in Bay Minette (10052710.52310). The requested funds will be drawn from the Commission Contingency (10051105.52901).
