STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Take the following actions:

 

1) Approve the promotion of Dillon Anderson from the Operator Technician II position (#270) grade 309 ($20.02 per hour / $41,641.60 annually) to fill the open Operator Technician III position (#273) at a grade 310 ($21.62 per hour / $44,969.60 annually); and

 

2) Approve the promotion of Jacobie Knight from the Operator Technician Trainee position (#5487) grade 306 ($16.87 per hour / $35,089.60 annually) to fill the open Operator Technician I position (#5627) at a grade 308 ($18.22 per hour / $37,897.60 annually); and

 

3) Approve the lateral transfer of Thomas Brandon Parker from the Mechanic II position (#5524) grade 312 ($23.09 per hour / $48,027.20 annually) in the Parks Department (57200) to fill the open Mechanic II position (#336) grade 312 ($24.25 per hour / $50,440.00 annually) in the Bay Minette Highway Department (53111) with an increase due to experience and certifications.

 

These actions shall be effective no sooner than July 15, 2024.

Background:  The Bay Minette Highway positions were vacated due to promotion of previous employees. The County Engineer respectfully requests that the above recommendations are approved.
