STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Adopt Resolution #2024-026, which approves Case No. Z23-28, BC Property Investments Property Rezoning, as it pertains to the rezoning of 8.85 acres, more or less, as located in Planning (Zoning) District 12, from RA, Rural Agricultural and RSF-E, Residential Single Family Estate to B-3, General Business.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The subject property is currently Zoned RA, Rural Agricultural and RSF-E, Residential Single Family Estate, and is located in Planning District 12, east of State Hwy 59 between Loxley and Robertsdale.  The applicant is asking that it be rezoned to B-3, General Business to relocate a business, Baldwin Rentals, to a larger lot.

 

The Planning Commission considered this request at their October 5, 2023, meeting and voted 8-1 to recommend APPROVAL to the County Commission.
