Recommendation
Approve the sale of 2010 Mercury Mariner VIN #4M2CN8BG9AKJ26834 (81,617 miles) on GovDeals.com through the Clerk/Treasurer and authorize funds from the sale of the vehicle to be deposited into the General Fund.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Necessary repairs for the 2010 Mercury Mariner used by custodial staff at the Bay Minette Commission Office are estimated to be more than the vehicle is worth. Staff recommends the vehicle be sold on GovDeals.com in “where is, as is” condition with no warranty (expressed or implied) by online auction as defined by Baldwin County Commission Policy 8.8.
Previous Commission action/date: 03/15/2022 - The BCC accepted the donation of a 2010 Mercury Mariner from the District Attorney’s Office to the Commission Administration Department (Fairhope Satellite Courthouse) for use by custodial staff.
