STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Take the following actions:

1) Approve License Agreement #23017 permitting the Utilities Board of Gulf Shores C/O Rhonda Butler to install a water and sewer service line on unmaintained right-of-way on Haddow Avenue in Gulf Shores, Alabama. (The term of this agreement shall commence on the date of full execution.  License for installation shall terminate at 11:59 p.m. on October 31, 2023.  License for maintenance shall be indefinite according to the terms of the agreement or until modified by a written agreement with Licensor.); and

2) Authorize the County Engineer to execute Utility Permits #23196-W and #23193-S.   d

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The Utilities Board of Gulf Shores C/O Rhonda Butler desires to install a 1-inch municipex water service line and a 1-inch sewer service line to 6601 Haddow Avenue within the unmaintained right-of-way of Haddow Avenue in Gulf Shores, Alabama.  The licensee shall have the property surveyed and staked prior to performing any work thereon.  All improvements constructed by the licensee shall be maintained by the licensee for any and all portions of the property that is not county maintained.  Any further development shall not be allowed until a new agreement is obtained.
