BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on December 9, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. Three (3) bids were received. Staff recommends the Commission award the bid for the Renovations of Central Annex Building for Building and Planning and Zoning Departments to the lowest bidder, RE Johnson General Contractors, LLC, in the bid amount of $107,981.00 as per the Award Listing. Bid Tabulation is attached for review.
Previous Commission action/date: 11/06/2025 meeting: 1) Approved the specifications and authorized the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for renovations of the Central Annex building for the Building and Planning and Zoning Departments located at 22251 Palmer Street, Robertsdale, Alabama 36567; and 2) Further, authorized the Chairman / Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.
