STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Award Bid #WG25-27 for the Provision of Mower Blades to the lowest responsible bidder, Equipment Sales Company, LLC, for Group #1 and Group #2 per the Award Listing.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on May 14, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. Three (3) bids were received. The lowest bidder for Group #1 was from Lacal Equipment, Inc., which is an out-of-state vendor not registered with the Alabama Secretary of State to do business in Alabama as required in Alabama Code Section 10A-1-7.01. Staff recommends the Commission award the bid for the Provision of Mower Blades to the lowest responsible bidder, who met all the specifications, Equipment Sales Company, LLC, for Group #1 and Group #2 per the Award Listing. Bid Tabulation attached for review.
