STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Award the Request for Proposals (RFP) for Vanpool Services to Enterprise Leasing Company-South Central, LLC, per the award listing and authorize the Chairman to execute the contract for thirty-six (36) months. Contract effective upon full execution.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The RFPs were due in the Purchasing Office on November 8, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. One firm submitted a proposal. The proposal was thoroughly evaluated and scored based on four (4) factors: project approach, qualifications/experience, cost proposal and conformance to specifications. The review panel consisted of Ann Simpson, BRATS Director, Wanda Gautney, Purchasing Director and Susan Kilby-Aaron, Assistant Purchasing Director. The exceptions and contract were reviewed by legal counsel. Ann Simpson, BRATS Director, respectfully requests the RFP be awarded to Enterprise Leasing Company-South Central, LLC per the attached Award Listing.
Previous Commission action/date:
10/03/2023 meeting: Approved the Request for Proposals (RFP) for Vanpool Services and authorized the Purchasing Director to advertise RFP; and further, authorized the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the RFP was advertised.
09/28/2023 meeting: Approved FY24 Budget Decision Item List for BRATS Workforce Transportation - Vanpool Program. Budgeted amount $43,200.00.
