Approve the Baldwin County Commission Accessibility Statement for publication to Baldwin County Commission’s website.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  In alignment with federal accessibility guidance and the County’s ongoing efforts to ensure digital inclusion, staff has prepared a public Accessibility Statement for publication on the County website.

 

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Staff aims for the County website to conform to WCAG 2.1 level AA.
