BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on November 15, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. Three (3) bids were received. The bid from Buster Miles Ford did not meet several specifications, one of which was for the engine to be a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 instead of the 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 specified. Therefore, staff recommendation is to award the bid to the lowest responsible bidder, who met all the specifications, Hardy Chevrolet Buick GMC Inc., in the amount of $51,068.00 each, for the purchase of Thirty-two (32) Chevrolet Tahoe Police Vehicles totaling $1,634,176.00.
