BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: This year's theme of Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week is "Behind the Screen: Education, Prevention, Connection." This initiative addresses rising concerns regarding anxiety, depression, and social media impacts on children and youth.
AltaPointe Health and other community partners collaborate daily to ensure that children and their families have access to high-quality behavioral health services, working closely with local agencies and healthcare providers in Baldwin County.
The continued goal is to increase public awareness about the importance of children's mental health while destigmatizing mental illness, promoting acceptance, and highlighting the resources available for children and their families.
Representatives from AltaPointe Health will be in attendance to accept the Proclamation.
