STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Take the following actions:

 

1) Approve the Request for Proposals (RFP) for Voice Managed Services and authorize the Purchasing Director to advertise RFP; and

 

2) Further, authorize the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the RFP is advertised.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The CIS Director, Brian Peacock, is requesting that the Commission approve the attached solicitation for Voice Managed Services. This will provide the County with telephone voice managed services, other than what we currently have, that can provide a more robust solution that can meet additional objectives, like a web-based portal where staff can manage and make real time changes as needed.
