Recommendation
Take the following action:
Approve the termination of services provided to Standard Furniture by Baldwin County Solid Waste as of July 1, 2019. This includes providing pull, hauling and/or disposal services for county owned open top container boxes located at Standard Furniture in Bay Minette, Alabama.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Previous Commission action/date: 1997
Background: The Baldwin County Commission agreed in 1997 that Baldwin County Solid Waste would provide disposal services for container boxes at Standard Furniture in order to dispose of residual manufacturing debris. On an on-call basis, Baldwin County Solid Waste pulls, transports and disposes of debris from county owned container boxes several times each week or daily depending on demand. Providing this type of service is not primary to our core business, and departmental efforts would be better served by discontinuing this service.
