STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the list of County equipment and vehicles for sale by auction (Exhibit A) at the J.M. Wood Auction Company, Inc., facility in Montgomery, Alabama, on September 23-25, 2025.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The Gross Guarantee for the County equipment and vehicles is $498,300.00. Per the contract, there will be a 6% commission deducted from the proceeds.
Previous Commission action/date:
May 6, 2025 - Approved the list of equipment for sale by auction (Exhibit A) on June 10-12, 2025.
January 7, 2025 - Approved the list of equipment for sale by auction (Exhibit A) on March 18-21, 2025.
August 6, 2024 - Approved the list of equipment for sale by auction (Exhibit A) on September 24-26, 2024.
May 7, 2024 - Approved the list of equipment for sale by auction (Exhibit A) on June 11-13, 2024.
January 16, 2024 - Approved the list of equipment for sale by auction (Exhibit A) on March 19-22, 2024.
May 16, 2023 - Approved the list of equipment for sale by auction (Exhibit A) on June 13-15, 2023.
February 7, 2023 - Approved the list of equipment for sale by auction (Exhibit A) on March 21-24, 2023, or June 13-15, 2023.
December 20, 2022 - The Commission approved and authorized the Chairman to execute the Auction Sales Agreement between J.M. Wood Auction Company, Inc., and the Baldwin County Commission, which will be applicable to all departments of the Commission, with all future equipment inventory lists being brought to the Commission for approval. This agreement shall become effective December 20, 2022, pending full execution by both parties, and terminate December 31, 2023, with an automatic renewal for an additional two (2) years, in one (1) year increments, unless cancelled by either party with a 30-day written notice prior to the contract renewal.
