Recommendation
Extend Bid #WG25-24 for the Provision for Rental of Solar Powered Portable Message Signs with United Rentals (North America), Inc. for an additional twelve (12) months with the same prices, terms, and conditions stated in the original bid awarded on June 3, 2025. The bid extension will expire June 8, 2027.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: EMA staff requests to extend the bid award with United Rentals (North America), Inc., awarded on June 3, 2025, for an additional twelve (12) months. The bid specifications contained a stipulation that the bid could be extended for two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods by the Commission at their option, if acceptable by the vendor. Any additional contract or extension will be at the same prices, terms, and conditions stated in the original bid. The vendor, United Rentals (North America), Inc., submitted an email agreeing to extend the bid prices for an additional twelve (12) months. The bid extension will expire June 8, 2027. Award listing attached for review.
