BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on January 6, 2025, at 1:30 P.M.  One (1) bid was received.  The bid was advertised for the purchase of Three (3) Animal Transport Body Units however there was not enough money budgeted to cover the cost of all three.  Wesley Majors, Animal Shelter Manager, requests to purchase only two (2) units to stay within budget and the bidder has agreed.  Therefore, staff recommends the Commission award the bid to Truck Equipment Sales, Inc., in the total amount of $83,550.00 for the Purchase of Two (2) Animal Transport Body Units per the Award Listing.
