Recommendation
Approve the Lease Agreement between TEKOA, LLC and the Baldwin County Commission (Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office) for a retail space located at 18451 State Highway 104, Unit 101, Robertsdale, Alabama, for office space for the Intelligence Units.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Lease Agreement forthcoming. These units are critical to Baldwin County law enforcement operations, and current overcrowding is impeding their effectiveness and future growth. This lease provides essential space to support continued operations and accommodate expansion.
The property owner has agreed to build to suit, creating a space that will be well utilized for years, pending future construction for the BCSO.
Lease payments to be incurred during FY 2026 will be paid utilizing BCSO funds, with subsequent payments occurring beyond FY 2026 to be determined during the FY 2027 budget deliberations.
