BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on July 2, 2026, at 1:30 P.M. Five (5) bids were received. A bid was received from LBS Enterprises, LLC d/b/a Allstates Coatings Company, which is an out-of-state vendor not registered with the Alabama Secretary of State to do business in Alabama as required in Alabama Code Section 10A-1-7.01. Staff recommends the Commission award the bid for the Provision of Paint Striping Materials to the lowest responsible bidders who met all the specifications: Crown USA, Inc., Ennis-Flint, Inc., The Pittsburgh Paints Co., and Swarco Industries, LLC, per the Award Listing.
