BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on October 1, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. Three (3) bids were received. Award recommendations are based on transportation cost and supply location for “picked up” materials and based on low bid for “delivered” materials. Bid Tabulations, Award Listings and 2023-2024 Award Listings are attached for Commission review.
Previous Commission action/date:
09/03/2024 meeting: 1) Approved the specifications for the Provision of Bituminous Materials and authorized the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid; and 2) Further, authorized the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.
