STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Take the following actions:

 

1)  Approve the specifications and authorize the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for renovations of the Oak Street building for the Building Inspection Department located at 203 Oak Street, Bay Minette, Alabama 36507; and

 

2)  Further, authorize the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The Commission approved FY 2024 Mid-year Budget Adjustments to include funds for renovations of the Oak Street building for the Building Inspection Department located in Bay Minette. Staff recommends the Commission approve the specifications and authorize the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid.
