BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on August 28, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. Three (3) bids were received. Staff recommends the Commission award the bid for the Renovations of Oak Street Building for the Building Inspection Department to the lowest bidder, GreenCo Services, LLC, in the bid amount of $187,437.00 with a Completion time of 60 working days as shown on the attached Award Listing. Bid Tabulation attached for review.
Previous Commission action/date:
08/20/2024 meeting: Made Addendum #1 which changed the bid opening date from August 14, 2024, to August 28, 2024, for Bid #WG24-24 - Renovations of Oak Street Building for the Building Inspection Department located in Bay Minette, Alabama, part of the August 20, 2024, official record of the Baldwin County Commission.
07/02/2024 meeting: 1) Approved the specifications and authorized the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for renovations of the Oak Street building for the Building Inspection Department located at 203 Oak Street, Bay Minette, Alabama 36507; and 2) Further, authorized the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.
