STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Approve an Intergovernmental Service Agreement between the Baldwin County Commission and Historic Blakeley Authority for Highway Maintenance crews to perform roadway repairs at Historic Blakeley State Park for a period of twenty-four (24) months. Historic Blakeley Authority will be billed quarterly for actual cost of labor and materials for roadway repairs.
This Agreement shall be effective upon full execution and terminate after twenty-four (24) months unless terminated by either party upon the delivery of a thirty (30) day notice of termination.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Historic Blakeley Authority is requesting assistance from the County for roadway repairs at Historic Blakeley State Park.
Previous Commission action/date:
July 1, 2025 - Approved an Intergovernmental Service Agreement between the Baldwin County Commission and Historic Blakeley Authority for the Highway Department to assist with cross drain replacement on Battlefield Road in Historic Blakeley State Park. The Historic Blakely Authority will reimburse the cost of materials for the project not to exceed $125,000.00.
November 5, 2024 - Approved an Intergovernmental Service Agreement between the Baldwin County Commission and Historic Blakeley Authority for the Highway Department to assist with roadway paving in Historic Blakely State Park with cost of materials not to exceed $300,000.00.
January 16, 2024 - Approved an Intergovernmental Service Agreement between the Baldwin County Commission and Historic Blakeley Authority for the Highway Department to assist with roadway paving in Historic Blakeley State Park with cost of materials not to exceed $217,000.00.
