STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Take the following actions:
1) Approve the lateral transfer of the Engineering Technician II positions (#5179, #5731, and #5732) from the Highway Maintenance Department (53130) to the Highway Permits Department (53150); and
2) Approve the lateral transfer of Joshua Chiasson from the Engineering Technician II (P&Z) position (#1072) grade 311 ($23.20 per hour / $48,256.00 annually) in the Planning and Zoning Department (52730) to fill the open Engineering Technician II (Utilities) position (#5731) in the Highway Permits Department (53150) with no change in pay, to be effective no sooner than November 20, 2023; and
3) Approve the employment of Michael Wates to fill the open Engineering Technician II (Utilities) position (#5732) grade 311 ($20.94 per hour / $43,555.20 annually) to be effective no sooner than November 13, 2023; and
4) Approve the updated organizational chart for the Highway Permits Department.
