Background:
“Older Americans Month” is celebrated in May throughout the nation to acknowledge the accomplishments and contributions of older Americans.
The Baldwin County Council on Aging has asked the Baldwin County Commission to proclaim May 2023 as “Older Americans Month” in Baldwin County, Alabama, to pay tribute to the County’s senior citizens.
Kelly Childress, Council on Aging Coordinator, and Sue Ferguson, Little River Senior Nutrition Center Manager, will be present to accept the proclamation.
