Building Inspection - Employment of Two (2) Permit Specialist Positions

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Take the following actions:

1) Approve the employment of Mary Todd to fill the open Permit Specialist position (#5788) grade 310 ($21.18 per hour / $44,054.40 annually); and

2) Approve the employment of Alicia Wright to fill the open Permit Specialist position (#5789) grade 310 ($21.18 per hour / $44,054.40 annually).

These actions shall be effective no sooner than November 10, 2025.

Background:  The Permit Specialist positions were created during the FY 2026 Budget Cycle.  The Building Official respectfully requests that the above recommendations are approved.
