Recommendation
Adopt Resolution #2027-010 authorizing and consenting to the transfer of ownership, maintenance, and responsibility for portions of Couch Plant Road, County Road 36, County Road 34/Hoffman Road, Daugherty Road and Raley Road to the Town of Summerdale.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The portions of Couch Plant Road, County Road 36, County Road 34/Hoffman Road, Daugherty Road and Raley Road are located within the Town of Summerdale but responsibility is vested in the County because they are bounded on one side by the corporate limits of the Town of Summerdale or abutting or otherwise touching the corporate limits of the Town of Summerdale.
The Town of Summerdale desires to assume responsibility for portions of Couch Plant Road, County Road 36, County Road 34/Hoffman Road, Daugherty Road and Raley Road to facilitate the orderly development and maintenance of this area and its corporate limits.
The Commission funded the resurfacing of portions of Couch Plant Road, County Road 36, Daugherty Road and Raley Road in the FY 2023 Budget and the portion of County Road 34/Hoffman Road in FY 2026 Budget.
