STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Approve the donation of one (1) 2010 Ford Crown Victoria, VIN #2FABP7BV9AX114884, from the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office to the Dale County Sheriff’s Office and authorize the Chairman to execute the Vehicle Donation Form and Fixed Asset Change Form.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office has one (1) surplus police vehicle that was purchased with Commission funds in their inventory.  This 2010 Ford Crown Victoria was originally a Patrol vehicle but was painted pink by the Sheriff’s Office to be used for Breast Cancer Awareness and other events.  The current mileage on the vehicle is 92,349 and has a Kelly Blue Book Value of $3,199.00.  Sheriff Anthony Lowery is requesting that the Commission approve donating the 2010 Ford Crown Victoria, VIN #2FABP7BV9AX114884, Tag #50491CO to Dale County Sheriff’s Office.
