STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Approve an Intergovernmental Service Agreement between the Baldwin County Commission and the City of Orange Beach for Area 300 Maintenance crews to perform routine blading on Navy Road (1.00 mile) that lies within Orange Beach city limits for a period of twenty-four (24) months. The City of Orange Beach will be billed quarterly for the actual cost of the work performed.


This agreement shall be effective upon full execution and terminate after twenty-four (24) months unless terminated by either party upon the delivery of a thirty (30) day notice of termination.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The City of Orange Beach is requesting assistance from the County for routine blading on Navy Road that lies within Orange Beach city limits.

 

Previous Commission action/date:  March 19, 2024 - The Commission approved an Intergovernmental Service Agreement with the City of Orange Beach for Area 300 Maintenance crews to perform routine blading on Navy Road (1.00 mile) that lies within Orange Beach city limits for a period of twenty-four (24) months. The Agreement expiries March 18, 2026.

Total cost of recommendation:  The City of Orange Beach will be billed quarterly for the actual cost of all work performed.
